Tressie Schrock Knepp, 88, died at the home of her son, Phillip Knepp, at Macon, MS, on May 8, 2019. She was born on November 25,1930 at Goshen, Indiana to Ezra and Clara Schrock. She married Edwin Jay Knepp on May 6, 1951 and they had a family of seven children. She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and was always a faithful and willing servant of God. In 1959, when a new church outreach was begun in Mississippi, Edwin and Tressie moved their family to the new area where they helped establish the Magnolia Conservative Mennonite Church at Macon, in Noxubee County. There they served the church and community for thirty-four years. In 1994, Edwin and Tressie moved to another church outreach in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He served as assistant pastor there until 2001 when his failing health brought them back to Macon where they lived the remainder of their days. Tressie lived a faithful life to her family, her church and to God, and led by example in gracious and ready hospitality to everyone she met.
