Ryan was born on September 25,1996 to Tim and Kimberly Koehn in Merced, California. He graduated from Grace Mennonite School in Winton, California and pursued a farming career. He loved the outdoors, riding dirt bikes and making friends. Ryan was our vacation planner, he loved to travel and see new places. A few of his favorite places to visit were Pismo Beach, Monterey, and the Florida Coast. Ryan made many friends with whom he stayed in contact with. He loved to please everyone and if you were happy, then he was happy.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always looking for ways to make you laugh.   Ryan met Rianne Unruh in 2016 and moved to Mississippi in July 2019 where he bought his first home. Ryan obtained a job working in the farming industry again and as usual he quickly became close friends with his employer.  He loved his farming job and would do whatever was required to complete the job correctly. He didn’t mind getting up early or having to stay late when it was needed. He worked tirelessly on his home making improvements, wanting it just right before he asked his best friend Rianne to marry him. Ryan and Rianne were married on October 31, 2020. Ryan continued to work in Alabama in the summer. He and Rianne would go to California in the winter and work for an agricultural spraying company.  This schedule continued for three years.  This year, 2023, was going to be the first time they would remain in Mississippi all year, a change which Ryan was looking forward to. He and Rianne loved to work on their home together and they made many upgrades to it. Ryan enjoyed wood-working and refinishing furniture as well as all the challenges of home improvement. He will be deeply missed and his love will forever be imprinted on the hearts of all who knew him. Ryan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Koehn , paternal grandfather, Dewey Koehn, and  uncle Lynn Koehn.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Rianne Unruh Koehn of Columbus, MS; his parents Tim and Kimberly Koehn of Columbus, MS; brother, Nolan Koehn of Livingston, CA., mother and father in law, Regina and James Unruh of Crawford, MS;  Maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Koehn, Livingston, CA, paternal grandmother, Thelma Koehn of Livingston, CA;  uncles and aunts: Dexter (Kathy) Koehn, Jerry (Janice) Jantz, David (Becky) Koehn, and Sherwin (Vangie) Dueck; and many cousins.
