Peggy Lee was born Pontiac, Illinois on March 21, 1948 to the late Orlen and Ruth Campbell Lee.

 She graduated from Pontiac High School and then went to cosmetology school.

 She was a beautician for many years. Later she worked at K-Mart in the shipping

and receiving department for several years. On August 24, 1991 Peggy married

 Hoss Williams and they made their home in the Brooksville, MS area. After their marriage,

she became a mail carrier and continued to do so for 27 years.

 Peggy loved growing flowers of all kinds and rarely encountered a plant or flower

 that she didn’t know the name of as well as knowing what each one required to

 thrive. She was a bargain hunter who enjoyed shopping. Peggy had a big heart,

 a “Heart of Gold” as the saying goes and loved to spoil all of her children,

 grand-children, great-grands and all of her extended family too. They all called

lovingly her “Gram”. Peggy was a member of Brooksville Methodist Church.

Peggy Lee Williams is survived by her husband: John Lawrence Williams,

 and by her children: Gene Smith (Sandy); Todd Smith; Tommy Smith (Nickie);

Marlo Allsup (Curt); Jennifer Stapleton and Billy Williams (Catherine).

She also leaves to mourn her passing 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
