Michael White, 49, of Shuqualak, MS., passed away at his residence.

Monday, June 9, 2025. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Macedonia Community Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 until service time. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. Cockrell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Michael Fred White, born November 6, 1975, in Macon, Mississippi. He was the beloved son of the late Fred and Ann Beasley White.

Michael graduated from Central Academy and began a long and dedicated career as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He worked for Bill Jones Trucking and later with Red Hills Enterprises under Ronald Wayne Clark. Known by his handle "New Hand" on the CB radio, Michael was respected for his work ethic and camaraderie.

A true outdoorsman, Michael found joy in hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker who took pride in keeping his yard neat and beautiful, often with his cherished grandson, Grayson, right by his side. His deep love for his family was evident in everything he did, especially in the devoted care he gave to his wife, Sara.

Michael was a lifelong member of Macedonia Community Church, where he began attending as a baby along with his family. His faith and family were central to his life. Michael is preceded by his parents, and two brothers-in-law, Robbie Rigdon and Johnny Black.

He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.

Michael is survived his loving wife, Sara White of Shuqualak, MS, a daughter, Anna White (Justin Goodnight) of Preston, two sons: Alan Michael White (Kelsey) of Preston, MS. and David Smith of Louisville, MS., a precious grandson, Grayson White, five sisters, Darlene Black of Macon, MS, Beverly Rigdon, Linda Higginbotham (James Melvin Higginbotham, Lisa Rigdon (Terry) and Christy Higginbotham (Tim) all of Shuqualak, MS and one brother, Richard White (Brenda) of Preston, MS. and a hosts of nieces and nephews.
