Funeral Services for Floyd D Borntrager will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church 105 Dent St Macon, MS 39341. Interment will be in the Cornerstone Cemetery, Macon, MS. Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Mercy Ships web address: mercyships.org. Floyd D. Borntrager, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born on November 19, 1951, Floyd grew up with a heart rooted in faith, hard work, and devotion to his loved ones. He attended Noxubee High School and later Hartville Christian School in Hartville, Ohio. Floyd was a long-standing member of Cornerstone Community Church. On May 12, 1973, he married the love of his life, Lois (Lee) Borntrager. Together they shared fifty-two beautiful years of marriage marked by grace, laughter, and a steadfast commitment.

Floyd’s working life reflected his diligent spirit—he spent many years as a dairy farmer and truck driver. Beyond his work, he found joy in restoring antique furniture, tending his garden, fishing, tinkering with motorbikes, and spending time with family and friends. His hands were rarely idle, and his quiet wisdom left an impression on all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Dan and Fannie Borntrager and seven siblings.

He is survived by his cherished wife Lois, three siblings, four children, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren: Siblings Millie Ann Borntrager / Clarence Borntrager / Idella Otto Children / Grandchildren Kedric Borntrager (Bethany), and their children: Holly Hansen (Garrett), Lukas Borntrager (Anna), Kyle Borntrager, and Tyler Borntrager  Curtis Borntrager (Holly)

 Twila Troyer (Jay), and their children: Cody Troyer (fiancée Alana Lovorn), Morgan Nolt (Josh), and Bailey Pender (Wyatt)

 Rose Ward (Andrew), and their children: Caleb, Keely, Cole, and Cassia Floyd’s legacy of unwavering faith, joyful optimism, and steady strength lives on in each of them. He will be remembered for the way he loved deeply, worked humbly, and walked faithfully.

A life well-lived, a man well-loved.
